Alabama Academy League announced the formation of the Alabama Academy, a developmental youth soccer league for boys and girls. The league joins boys and girls teams playing in U9, U10, U11, and U12 divisions from local youth clubs, and matches will take place in Spring and Fall. Individual development is prioritized over team progress and success is measured through the individual execution of trained skills & concepts. There are no fixed rosters instead, a pool system is utilized for easy roster movement and to reward player improvement.
